Starting Thursday, August 27th join us for our new live series, "Up In The Air", a space for creatives, professionals, millennials and artists who are managing life transitions. A life transition, simply put is a change. A change that's voluntary or involuntary. This live series explores how people are coping with changes in career, education, personal growth and more.
Meet Your Host
Quaneshia Chandler is a Macon, Mississippi native. She recently received her Master’s degree from Alabama A&M University in Counseling Psychology with a clinical concentration. Her focus is understanding the barriers, as well as tools that can be implemented to address the accessibility of mental health services within the Black community.
Quaneshia has experience in substance abuse, psychological, personality, and intelligence testing. She has also had the opportunity to present at conferences surrounding mental health and the Black community. She is also a certified mental health first aider.
Quaneshia aims to provide a space of transparency, authenticity, and resource for those in search of conversation and mental health services.
